Spanish shoe designer Pedro Garcia died on Thursday. He was 81 years old.
A service for Garcia was held on Friday.

The shoemaker served as the head of his eponymous label for 22 years, catapulting it to success worldwide. The company is a third-generation business established by his father, also named Pedro, in 1925.
Mila Garcia, his daughter, has served as the brand’s CEO since he relinquished duties in the 1990s, and his son, also named Pedro, is the creative director.
Garcia’s shoes have been sold at Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom and other select retailers, as well as on its website.
