The men’s edition of Paris Fashion Week has wrapped, and this year’s attendees brought a particularly laid-back vibe with their sartorial choices. Sneakers were the dominant story on the street, from a standout Givenchy style on Victor Cruz (who is the face of the brand’s fall campaign) to suped-up Rick Owens and Valentino versions to classic white court sneakers like K-Swiss to street-style icons Converse and Vans.
The men attending Paris Fashion Week showed that sneaker culture isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The shoes were paired with shorts and summery blazers and, in some cases, tube socks.
The Street style’s sneaker saturation was reflected on the runways. Lanvin embraced slip-on sneakers and thong sandals. Berluti went for bold, bright sneakers. Rick Owens and Adidas debuted a unisex line that we’re expecting to be hot as soon as it’s available. And Saint Laurent showed beaten-up surfer low-top sneakes decked out with metallic laces.
