Social media exploded after Hillary Clinton officially announced her candidacy for President on Sunday afternoon, with many posts coming from the fashion industry.

Designer Prabal Gurung and CFDA President Steven Kolb are among the many #HillaryClinton2016 supporters who took to Instagram to show their approval.

Clinton made her announcement via a Youtube video that already has close to 3 million views.

In the video,  she says, “I’m getting ready to do something, too. I’m running for President. Every day, Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion, so you can do more than just get by — you can get ahead. And stay ahead. Because when families are strong, America is strong. So I’m hitting the road to earn your vote, because it’s your time. And I hope you’ll join me on this journey.”

Womenswear designer Tanya Taylor and Adidas Originals Design Director Paul Mittleman also joined the online celebration.

Mittleman hit Instagram to write, “Hillary Clinton for President. The right woman for the job. She has my [vote] and support. I think she will lead and represent us as well as she can, I believe.”

Oh happy day 🙌 #Hillary2016 💛💙💜💚❤️💛💙💜💚❤️
