Sanuk is expanding its roster of brand ambassadors by adding surfer Ozzie Wright to the brand’s men’s ambassador program. In addition to being a professional surfer, Wright is also a musician and artist.
“I’m so stoked to join Sanuk! It is a great brand that has a long history of not taking itself too seriously, which is something I can relate to,” the Australian native said of the partnership.

Smile or die! Today, we proudly welcome one of the planet's most grin-inducin' shred-sledders to #Sanuk's fun-lovin' family of charismatic characters. “I’ve known Ozzie for many years, and he truly is a perfect fit for Sanuk,” VP of global marketing, Ethan Anderson, said in statement. “His creative approach to life is a wonderfully refreshing thing and we are thrilled to get to work with him.”
Wright joins surfers Dave Rastovich, Albee Layer, Matt Meola, Donavon Frankenreiter and more. You can find these ambassadors at various press and sponsorships events throughout the year. For Rastovich — his favorite Sanuk shoe style is the Hemp, while Meola often opts for Cassius.
According to the brand, Sanuk utilizes brand ambassadors to create fun, fearless and engaging brand content for its social-media platforms and marketing campaigns. For example, Sanuk added surfer Lauren Hill to the team in July, and for their first official adventure, Sanuk and Hill hit the Hawaiian Islands to show off her skills in the water and her Sanuk shoe of choice — the Yoga Sling 2.
