Taylor Swift’s JumboTron Dance With Jimmy Fallon Shows Off Sweet Oxford Booties

Taylor Swift’s frequent dancing in the audience at awards shows over the years has gone from cute to overplayed and back again. Clearly, she’s decided she couldn’t care less what you (or Pharrell) thinks of her busting a move with her friends during a big show.

To prove it, she and Jimmy Fallon participated in another time-honored tradition of carefree booty-shaking: the JumboTron dance.

On Tuesday’s “Tonight” show, Fallon mock-complained to Swift that she’d ruined their “thing” of dancing in the audience by doing it all over the place. She apologized, and they reminisced about their many shared moments of dancing glory. That was followed by a montage of JumboTron dance-cam videos of real-life fans inter-cut with Fallon and Swift’s dances.

The duo are seen attending Knicks, Nets, Rangers, and Islanders games — and spilling a whole lot of popcorn every time they’re surprised by the camera. Taylor donned oversize jerseys and jackets for each event, but her shoes remained the same throughout the skit: Sam Edelman cutout Oxford booties that in no way hampered her jumping and skipping in the stands.

Watch her get extra silly to “Cotton-Eyed Joe” and the like in the video below. It’s enough to make you wish she’d been among the celebrities attending the NBA All-Star Weekend last week.

The Sam Edelmans she wore in the skit are sold out, but they’re sure to inspire fans to reach for similar styles in which they can “Shake It Off” in comfort.

Swift has been hot on FN’s radar since the release of “1989” last fall, as her every appearance and video of late features a trendy shoe or 10 (with the exception of “Style,” which is devoid of shoe shots —the nerve!).

For a more shoe-focused Swift, just re-watch “Blank Space” for the millionth time.
