Sure, we spied your fair share of multicolor sneakers and fur-embellished silhouettes. But one thing stood out — from Paris to Barcelona, from London to New York City — black-and-white kicks continue to reign as the sneaker du jour among the street-style set, both on our shores and throughout Europe.

From classic Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars, black-and-white Nike Roshe Run trainers and statement space age-esque Rick Owens high-tops — the one thing they all had in common was their lack of color.
