Spanish fashion-comfort brand Pikolinos has launched its new fall ’15/ spring ’16 marketing campaign — #CraftYourWay. It will follow independent artists within the creative community on their individual paths to achieve their dreams. All those selected are alternative creative thinkers who are taking the road less traveled to create their unique reality.
Pikolinos will provide each with product to wear as their journeys unfold. Their stories will be documented via social media and on the brand’s website, Pikolinos.com, under #CraftYourWay.
Kicking off the campaign is folk artist Tamara Laurel, a rising performer on the indie music scene. She launched her first album, Runaway, in October 2015, a cross-section of Folk and Americana sounds. Emphasizing her independent spirit, she issued the album without a label behind it. In addition, song excerpts from her first EP, Lightning and Runaway, will also be available on the website.
“Our leather artists are the core of the Pikolinos brand and product,” said Juanma Perán VP of Pikolinos. “We take pride in this handcrafted quality and believe in highlighting the stories of these talented artists who adhere to similar values: artists that find their path to create something truly original. When we were introduced to Tamara, it was a natural fit. She has a great natural talent with a strength of character and creates compelling art in a modern way by mixing traditional musical elements with unexpected arrangements. These values resonated perfectly with the Pikolinos brand DNA.”
Photography and behind-the-scenes video from the campaign will also be released on Pikolinos’ social media pages as well as Laurel’s latest music and video releases.
