Old Navy has a new music video titled “#Unlimited.” The retailer, in partnership with teen YouTube network AwesomenessTV, asked kids at Boys and Girls Clubs across the U.S. what it means to be “unlimited.”
The kids’ answers inspired a music video, written by music producers Cisco Adler and Alex Aiono and performed by AwesomenessTV actors.
This year’s campaign builds on Old Navy’s #Unlimited campaign from 2014, which was nominated for a Daytime Emmy and garnered more than 5 million views on YouTube.
In this year’s video, the kids all wear shirts featuring the word #Unlimited. Although it’s not clear if the footwear in the video is Old Navy’s, one classic back-to-school style was spotted: the Converse Chuck Taylor.
The shirts are available for purchase in both girls’ and boys’ styles in Old Navy stores and online for $14. Twenty percent of the proceeds — up to $75,000 — from sales of the shirts in the U.S. and Canada will support the Boys and Girls Clubs.
Until Aug. 19, Old Navy will match in-store customer donations to the Boys and Girls Clubs, up to $415,000. Customers can donate at registers in all stores or by buying the shirt or downloading the #Unlimited song online.
