Cypress, Calif.-based brand Vans has teamed up with Los Angeles-based footwear designer Charlotte Stone for a three-piece, environmentally conscious footwear collection for women.
The styles is available now in stores and via Vans’ online store.
Stone, who trained in footwear design in Italy, used eco-friendly materials, including 100 percent recycled canvas created from repurposed plastic bottles for the shoe’s uppers. The collection has a three-color palette of white, black and pale pink.
The Vans silhouettes used in the collection are the ballet-inspired Solana, the classic Tazie laceup and the clean and simple mid Rhea SF. The collab’s Solana comes in rosewater pink with a white outsole, the Tazie is all-white and the Rhea SF has a black canvas upper with a black outsole. Each shoe features a Vans waffle sole in pink, rose-gold eyelets and a metallic foil-print decorative sock liner with Stone’s signature detailing.
The Solana has a retail price of $57, the Tazie goes for $57 and the Rhea SF retails for $66.
