Nike released a seemingly endless number of colorways of LeBron James’ signature shoes in 2015, its most popular sponsored athlete and now a member of the brand’s athlete team for life, having signed a lifetime deal with the Beaverton, Ore.-based athletic giant earlier this month.
The LeBron 12, the shoe James wore for much of the 2014-15 season that spilled into the current season, was a sneakerhead favorite and spent more time being talked about online than it did on the shelves of retailers worldwide. Aside from the player’s-edition colorways that sneakerheads would love to have on their feet, the shoe hit the market in a number of iterations, from Independence Day-themed releases to silhouettes boasting alternative materials such as cork.

Nike also unveiled its latest signature shoe for the Cleveland Cavaliers star, the LeBron 13, in September, which first hit stores in October.
The first colorway, Written in the Stars, was an instant hit, and since the first release have come colorways dedicated to James’ hometown, inspired by horror movies and more.
