With the NBA playoffs a month away and March Madness looming, an abundance of court-ready releases are set to hit the shelves of your favorite sneaker store. Nike and Adidas will release signature shoes for the NBA’s top stars, while Reebok goes to the vault for a fan-favorite release. Here are some of the releases you can expect in stores this week.
Nike to Release Three LeBron 12s
Sneakerheads and ballers alike will be hungry for the trio of LeBron 12 releases, starting with the Fruity Pebbles release March 11. Unfortunately for adults, only young shoppers will be fed, as the cereal-inspired shoe is available solely in kid sizes.
Following the Fruity Pebbles release is a more fashionable version of the LeBron 12, geared for the streets, not the court. On March 11, Nike will release the bold LeBron 12 NSW Lifestyle, complete with a solid red suede boot with gold accents.
The Cavaliers star’s well-known affinity for the Dallas Cowboys also makes its way to his signature shoe this week with the March 14 release of the What If, a royal blue and silver sneaker design, reminiscent of James’ favorite NFL franchise.

Reebok Re-Releases a 1990’s Standout
Shawn Kemp hasn’t been in the NBA for more than a decade, but you’ll see his sneakers on the court once again with Reebok’s March 13 Pump Kamikaze II Twilight Zone release. Although the original release was not a Pump, the new version boasts the technology –with Kamikaze replacing Pump on the tongue– in a white, black, neon green and orange colorway.
John Wall’s Signature Adidas Sneaker Has Fans Seeing Blue
The latest edition of the Wizards star’s signature shoe –the J Wall 1 Lucky Blue– is slated for a March 13 release. The sneaker boasts a predominantly sky blue boot and is paired with a pristine white tongue and red accents throughout the sneaker. To those familiar with his first Washington Nationals pitch gaffe –and later, redemption– the heel tab will bring back memories, as the mostly white tab features red stitching, reminiscent of the laces on a baseball.
Nike Foamposite One Goes Gold
Foamposite fans have another reason to be excited with the March 14 release of the Metallic Gold. The sneaker calls to mind the Metallic Silver, released March of last year, both with black lining adorning the boot, but trading the volt green outsole for a more subtle translucent style.
Jordan Offers a Pair of Weekend Releases
If you’re often seen in the latest Air Jordans, you have two releases to choose from this weekend.
The Air Jordan 20 Stealth, originally released in 2005, will make its way to stores once again March 14. Although the shoe has a slightly different look than its original, the black and varsity red colorway is once again complete with Mark Smith laser details to the mid-foot strap affixed to the boot. In addition to the Stealth, the Jordan 4 Teal will also be in stores March 14. While the basketball icon never wore the color in his career, the sneaker is predominantly teal and adorned with white and black accents.
