Toms’ latest collaboration has hit stores. The brand teamed up with National Geographic’s Big Cats Initiative for a special-edition fall ’15 collection of footwear, glasses and a backpack.
“It’s been a dream of mine to work with big cats and this incredible organization. I look forward to sharing the new collection and continuing our journey together to drive awareness,” Heather Mycoskie, Toms chief animal lover, said in a release.
The organization will use a portion of the net proceeds to support nonprofit work in cultural preservation.
“This collection was born out of mutual respect between TOMS and National Geographic and an alignment on the importance of giving consumers exciting ways to raise awareness for big cats,” said Dennis Randall, Senior Director of Licensing for National Geographic. “Mission-driven products are more important than ever and this partnership celebrates a new way of thinking for brands and the good they can do through collaboration.”
