Golden State Warriors star and Under Armour-sponsored baller, Stephen Curry, hit a three-pointer with 4:29 left in the second quarter Thursday night against the Portland Trail Blazers, giving him 273 three-pointers made for the season. The shot broke the season record for number of three’s made in a season, a record Curry set in the 2012-13 season.
The hoops star — who scored 45 points in the 116-105 win — ended the night by hitting three more three-pointers, leaving him with 276 for the season with three games left to play in the regular season.
The superstar guard achieved the feat on his home court in a home colorway of his Under Armour signature shoe, the Curry One. The predominantly white shoe boasts the Warriors’ midnight blue from the heel to the midsole — as well as in the Under Armour logo — and a gold outsole.
And Curry breaking his own record, doing so on 17-of-23 shooting, wasn’t the only feat the guard delivered Thursday night, leaving fans in awe. Those watching the pre-game warmups got to see Curry hit a three-pointer from a little bit farther than the NBA three-point line — the hallway the players enter through, several rows into the stands.
After the game, Curry was given the ball he shot for number 273.
Under Armour released the two latest versions of the Curry One on April 3, the Underdog and the Away. The Underdog boasts a predominantly gray boot with red and white accents, while the Away is a black, gold and white colorway. Both pairs retail for $120.
