There aren’t many sneaker releases to choose from this weekend, but Nike and Jordan Brand are making sure sneakerheads can still add great shoes to their collections. Check out what you can pick up on Friday and Saturday.
Air Jordan 6 Retro Low Insignia Blue
Although Michael Jordan retired from the NBA in 2003, his signature shoes still reign supreme in the basketball and sneakerhead communities. On Saturday, the Air Jordan 6 Retro Low Insignia Blue will hit stores, with a retail price of $140. The shoe features a white and insignia blue tumbled leather upper with ghost green accents. The shoe has a white and insignia blue midsole with an icy translucent outsole. Aside from the men’s sizing, the shoe is also available for kids.
Nike Air Max 90 Sweet Schemes Collection
Nike used its coveted Air Max 90 silhouette to create the Sweet Schemes collection, a series of six shoes that are inspired by the native foods and beverages of six of the world’s most popular cities. The shoes include the New York Cheesecake, the Paris Macaroon, the London Eton, the Tokyo Crepe, the Shanghai Cake, and the Milan Aperitivo. The shoes will hit select Nike Sportswear accounts on Friday and each shoe has a retail price of $150 or $170.
