Ronnie Fieg x Buscemi 110MM
Strategically timed for next week’s NBA All-Star Game (not to mention the start of NYFW), Ronnie Fieg is releasing a new sneaker collaboration with designer Jon Buscemi.
The shoe, which went on sale today in Fieg’s Kith stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn, N.Y., is a completely new silhouette called the 110MM. Priced at $695, the black-and-red sneakers were handcrafted in Italy from high-grade Italian leathers. They feature trapunto quilting on the quarter panels and tongue, while Buscemi’s signature padlock hardware in matte black adorns the heel.
Can’t make it to the stores today to grab a pair? The 110MM will release online Saturday, Feb. 7, on KithNYC.com.
Extra Butter x Reebok Ventilator “Street Meat”
The team at Extra Butter is serving up something tasty this weekend. Today, the New York retailer’s Lower East Side location unveiled a street food-inspired version of the Reebok Ventilator. Dubbed “Street Meat,” the $145 style is a literal reflection of the store’s favorite halal dishes.
The colors on the upper are taken from lamb, chicken and falafel, while the insole calls to mind piles of yellow rice. And two lace options pay homage to the infamous red and white sauces.
On Saturday, the shoes will go on sale at the Extra Butter store in Rockville Centre, N.Y., and online at Extrabutterny.com.
Concepts x New Balance 997 “Luxury Goods”
Tarek Hassan launched his New York Concepts location with a New Balance collab, and the two have reunited for the limited-edition 997 “Luxury Goods” style.
The bright, tonal-orange kick drops at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at both the New York and Cambridge, Mass., shops. At noon, it will release online at Cncpts.com.
Retailing for $235, the sneaker was crafted in New Balance’s Skowhegan, Maine, factory and utilizes domestically sourced materials, including full pig suede and a natural leather lining. It also features a mosaic branded insole and two additional lace options.
