Reebok has once again collaborated with designer Patrick Mohr, this time on three unisex versions of its iconic Ventilator silhouette. The collaboration will be available in August, exclusively at Europe-based retailer Zalando.
Mohr, a Germany-based designer known for his unisex athletic and urban street-wear creations, created three designs for the Ventilator silhouette using only black and white throughout each shoe.
The designs include a predominantly black upper with white on the heel, tongue and outsole; an upper and outsole split between white and black, with more white adorning the front of the shoe, with black in the rear; and a black-and-white triangular-pattern upper with black laces and a white outsole.
In 2014, Mohr created limited-edition versions of the men’s Ex-O-Fit Hi in all black and all purple, and the women’s Freestyle Hi in black. Both the men’s and women’s shoes featured changeable toothed lace tags along the sides of the shoes in black and white.
Reebok has been putting a lot of energy behind the Ventilator recently, celebrating its 25th anniversary with a marketing campaign featuring rap superstar Kendrick Lamar and partnering with Finish Line to promote its iconic shoe to the retailer’s consumers.
