Fitness enthusiasts who enjoy a hardcore workout in Nike shoes, pushing themselves to their physical limits and working every muscle to exhaustion will soon have a new training shoe to wear.
The Nike Zoom Speed Trainer 3 men’s shoe hits stores Sept. 30 and has a retail price of $100.
The Zoom Speed Trainer 3 features many of the brand’s top technologies and popular materials, including a Zoom Air unit in the heel to provide responsive cushioning, durable circular-knit mesh for impact protection and breathability, rubber over the arch and lateral side for abrasion protection, synthetic bands integrated with the laces to lock down the foot and a solid rubber outsole for traction. The shoe also features cutouts in the outsole to keep the weight down and for greater flexibility.
The initial colorway is predominantly black on the upper with contrast provided by green strike, which accounts for the stripes from the toe cap to the midfoot and the pattern underneath the black breathable mesh layer from the midfoot to the heel. The shoe features accents of a bold blue hue Nike refers to as “soar,” which is found on the tongue and some of its eyelets. The midsole is white and is finished with a black and icy translucent bottom.
