Nike to Release Four Easter-Themed Signature Basketball Shoes

Nike is quick to make holiday-themed releases, and with Easter fast approaching, fans of festive sneakers will be pleased. Nike is set to unveil its Basketball Easter Collection, a pack of four signature shoes from LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, in colors associated with Easter.

All four sneakers will be available on April 2 via Nike’s website and select retailers.

The LeBron 12 Easter, the subtlest colorway of the pack, features a sunset-glow boot mixed with a black section that extends from the liner to the outsole. Hot lava is a popular color in the collection, and it makes its way onto the LeBron shoe on laces and the swoosh.

The boldest colorway of the collection is the KD7 Easter. The bright boot is done entirely in liquid lime, with the only dark colors on the black swoosh, midsole strap and “KD” logo on the tongue.

Rivaling the bold colorway of the KD7 is the Kyrie 1 Easter. The boot is predominantly purple, with hot lava hints through the front of the boot and liner. The only dark feature is the tongue, which is black. The shoe also boasts a teal outsole and silver swoosh.

The Kobe X Easter, inspired by a robin’s egg, features a predominantly hot lava boot with a teal tongue and outsole. The sneaker is brought together with a solid black swoosh and heel.
