Although Cleveland Cavaliers superstar guard is sidelined for the remainder of the NBA Finals with a knee injury, new editions of his Nike signature shoe continue to make it to retailers. The Kyrie 1 Letterman is set to be released Saturday.
The latest colorway is bold and bright, with tour yellow and university gold dominating the shoe. The yellow makes up the entire upper and the gold accounts for most of the outsole and its heel. The accents of the shoe are mostly teal, from the lining to the jagged pattern along the front of the outsole. The shoe also has hints of white on the outsole.
The shoe has a retail price tag of $110.
Although the shoe won’t be seen on Irving’s feet for the remainder of the playoffs, his Cavaliers team has a 2-1 series lead over the Golden State Warriors. The Cleveland squad is led by the play of Nike-sponsored superstar LeBron James, who posted 39 points in the game two win and 40 points in the game three win.
The Kyrie 1 Letterman is just one of two signature shoe releases from the guard slated for June. The Independence Day colorway will see retail shelves June 27.
