Nike has unveiled its 2015 “Black History Month Collection,” available for purchase on January 17.
The capsule line features 28 products, including 12 footwear styles and 16 pieces of apparel and accessories. Fan favorites are reworked in three different black-and-white prints, including new takes on the Air Force 1, LeBron 12 and Kobe 9 Elite.
“Our [collection] honors and celebrates the athletes and leaders who have influenced global culture and have paved the way for our next generation,” said Michael Jackson, VP and GM of Global Basketball, Nike Brand, in a release.
The new styles draw inspiration from six leading athletes and coaches, including Theotis Beasley, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Brianna Rollins.
A portion of the proceeds from the line will benefit the Ever Higher Fund, supporting organizations that benefit underserved youth through sports.
