With Memorial Day looming, the amount of sneaker releases is light for the upcoming weekend, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything incredible to pick up. Under Armour, Nike, Adidas and Puma have big releases over Memorial Day weekend, sure to move off retail shelves quickly.
Check out what the brands have coming out.
Under Armour Curry One #DUBNATION
This colorway has been on Stephen Curry’s feet throughout the season, and while his Golden State Warriors playing for the Western Conference championship, the sneakers will be made available for fans to purchase. On Friday, Under Armour will release the #DUBNATION, Curry’s signature shoe with an all white upper with blue company logo and accents, and a yellow and blue outsole. The shoe has a retail price tag of $120.
Nike SB Dunk Low McFly
Inspired by the Nike Air Mag, originally seen in the classic film Back to the Future, Nike will release the SB Dunk Low McFly on Friday. The skateboarding silhouette will feature a colorway reminiscent of the Air Mag, with a wolf gray upper and a white and light translucent blue outsole. The shoe has a retail price tag of $100.
Nike Air Jordan 11 Retro Low True Red
A low version of an iconic Michael Jordan signature shoe will hit shelves Friday. The Air Jordan 11 Retro Low True Red will once again be available for purchase, complete with an all black upper consisting of mesh with a patent leather overlay, a white and translucent red outsole, and red lining. The shoe will have a price tag of $170.
Adidas D Lillard 1 PDX Carpet
Portland Trail Blazer guard Damian Lillard’s signature shoe with Adidas will receive a makeover to resemble carpet from the city’s airport. The D Lillard 1 PDX Carpet Edition will be available Saturday, with a $125 price tag. The print of the Portland International Airport’s carpet – red, lavender and purple dots and dark blue lines – is seen on the teal portion of the shoe’s upper, sitting above the purple snakeskin that also adorns the upper. The shoe also features purple on the Techfit booty and white and gray outsole.
Puma XS-500 Woven
For the sneakerhead looking for a clean, woven running silhouette, Puma has a release coming Friday. The XS-500, with molded bottom reminiscent of the brand’s Trinomic technology, will hit stores in five colorways, including red and black, navy and white, black and white, and two editions of all black. The shoes will have a price tag of $90.
