With the basketball season steadily approaching, Nike has yet to release images or information regarding a new signature shoe for LeBron James. But in the meantime, the Beaverton, Ore.-based brand is set to release another edition of its LeBron 12 Low silhouette.
The LeBron 12 Low SVSM will hit stores Thursday and retail for $175.
The latest colorway of the LeBron 12 Low silhouette is dedicated to the place where James became a legend before stepping on the pro court: St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
The shoe boasts a predominantly black upper with a black Hyperposite overlay. The shoe’s upper features metallic gold in the swoosh logo on the toe cap, James’ logo and signature on the tongue, the swoosh logo near the shoe’s arch and on its heel tab. The shoe also features emerald green highlights in its Flywire cables under the mesh and the laces. The outsole is split between icy translucent in the forefoot and emerald green at the heel.
The SVSM is the first LeBron 12 Low release from Nike for September. The last edition of the LeBron 12 Low was the Rise, which hit stores on Aug. 22. The shoe features a hyper cobalt mesh upper covering its university red Flywire cables, with a white Hyperposite overlay featuring multicolored speckles.
