Record producer Just Blaze, who has worked with the likes of Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar and Drake, is part of a collaboration releasing Friday that is outside of the music world.
The Saucony Grid SD Casino will be released at a pop-up shop at Wallplay in NYC, in conjunction with retailer Packer Shoes. The shoes will be sold as part of a bundle pack, which features a roulette graphic tote bag, t-shirt, customized set of Bicycle playing cards, and cee-lo dice housed in a special acrylic case. Retail price for the bundle is $225.
A reversible bucket hat will also be sold exclusively at the pop-up shop separate from the bundle pack, with a retail price of $30.
Also at the pop-up shop will be an official Packer by Just Blaze roulette table, where customers can spin the wheel for a chance to win their Casino bundle for free. The pop-up shop, located at 118 Orchard Street, will be open Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Following the release at the pop-up shop, a limited quantity of the shoes will be sold via the retailers website starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
The Casino release is a Packer Shoes worldwide exclusive that will only be available through the pop-up shop and online, and will not be available at other retailers.
The last collaboration involving Packer Shoes, the Puma Trinomic Blaze of Glory Bloodbath, was released globally Oct. 10.
