On the eve of the Nike Air Jordan 7 Retro Hare release, Brand Jordan released a video via YouTube of the iconic cartoon character Bugs Bunny recreating the shoe’s 1992 TV commercial that starred the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan.
In the dramatic black-and-white, slow-motion commercial, Bugs Bunny, sporting the same stern look on his face as Jordan had in the original TV spot, drives to the hoop and dunks a basketball with authority, a la Jordan in his heyday.
Unlike Jordan, a two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion, Bugs Bunny threw down the reverse jam with his floppy ears, with his arms crossed on his chest.
The celebrated Jordan 7 original colorway is set to hit retailer shelves on Saturday. For devout Jordan fans or the avid sneakerhead in pursuit of the hottest kicks on the market, the white, light silver, tourmaline and true red colorway will have a retail price tag of $190.
