Los Angeles-based footwear brand Creative Recreation is further catering to its local customers just in time for the holidays by opening a pop-up shop. The store also features a charitable component, with Inner City Arts the beneficiary.
The pop-up, which takes over the Liberty Concept Space at 8366 1/2 West 3rd Street in Los Angeles, will open tomorrow and remain open every day (except Mondays) until Jan. 3, closing its doors for Christmas and New Year’s Day. Creative Recreation will display its spring ‘16 collection and new collaborations at the pop-up. In addition to being able to purchase the brand’s products, people can give back to the community through the brand’s “Creative Cards” initiative: For $1, customers can write a message that will be posted on the shop’s walls. All proceeds will be donated to Inner City Arts.
Creative Recreation will also host several events at the space, including the opening party on Dec. 10, which will feature cocktails, a food truck and a red carpet. Other events will include weekly happy hours, a creative workshop with Creative Recreation’s creative director, Rich Cofinco, a sneak peek at the brand’s summer offerings and a stylist preview.
The store will open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
