Adidas has unveiled new colorways of its Ultra Boost trainer for fall. The running shoe features the brand’s Boost technology and Primeknit upper, which is also featured on the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350. The new colors are Frozen Yellow for women and Solar Yellow for men.
Adidas has updated the shoe’s technology to feature 20 percent more Boost cushioning material and a Torsion System for heel-to-forefoot stability. The Stretch Web outsole, made with perforated elastic, is meant to adapt to a range of surfaces, and the sock liner aims to adapt to each individual’s foot.
In June, Adidas announced a partnership with Parley for the Oceans, an organization that launches projects to help protect oceans from their many threats. The brand unveiled an Ultra Boost made with materials that were illegally dumped into the ocean, including plastic and gill netting.
Also in June, the brand released its Ultra Boost Collective by Kris Van Assche, featuring the designer’s signature argyle print.
Ultra Boost sneakers are already offered in a handful of colors for both men and women, including black, white, orange, navy, and pink, and retail for $180.
