Aside from anything Adidas Originals has done with rap star Kanye West, from the Yeezy Boost 350 to the Yeezy Boost 750, perhaps the most talked-about new silhouette from the Germany-based brand is the Tubular Mid. On Monday, a new edition of the shoe will hit stores with the Primeknit Snake Pack.
The pack will feature two colorways of the shoes, which will retail for $160.
Although the sneaker is built on the Tubular platform that the brand first released in 1993, the shoe now has a lifestyle focus, contemporary styling and features some of the brand’s latest technology, including a snakeskin Primeknit upper with vacuum-formed adiFilm overlays for support. The shoe also features the brand’s popular neoprene sock-fit design.
One colorway of the shoe releasing Monday has a black upper with a carbon-and-vintage white outsole. The other colorway boasts a bright cyan upper with a bold aqua-and-vintage white outsole.
The Tubular silhouette has been released in a number of editions from Adidas Originals this year, including the recent Tubular Premium Primeknit, which features a Primeknit upper with leather and nubuck overlays in three color ways, and the Tubular Moc Runner Tonal Pack.
