The popular Ultra Boost silhouette from Adidas has received another makeover courtesy of designer Kris Van Assche and is now available for purchase.
The brand and the designer unveiled the Ultra Boost Collective by Kris Van Assche this week at Adidas Icon Store No 42 at 42 Rue de Sévigné in Paris as a part of Men’s Fashion Week. The two styles feature the print the designer is best known for, argyle.
One of the sneakers is navy, red and gray argyle, rounded out with a white outsole with red bottom. The other is black, gray and white, with a white outsole and a green bottom.
The limited-edition shoes retail for $295.
The Ultra Boost Collective by Kris Van Assche weren’t the only releases from the brand last week.
Adidas unveiled its Nova, Doom, X and Defiant — four styles from the spring ’16 line, called the Tubular collection, which is inspired by running technology from the 1980s. The shoes feature the sole of the classic Tubular 93 silhouette. The presentation included an acrobatic display by models wearing the shoes and all-black apparel at an underground location.
