Adidas has an updated version of a classic silhouette coming from its vault just in time for summer, and just for women. The brand will debut the Stan Smith Honeycomb Gloss Pack next month.
The shoe does not currently have a U.S. release date, but it will be available at select Adidas retailers abroad and via the brand’s German-based website starting June 1.
The Stan Smith, first released in 1973, will have a different look for this pack, featuring a glossy honeycomb pattern that takes over the shoe’s all-white upper.
The sneaker will be available in two colorways, though the color of the shoe’s upper and outsole will remain the same. The shoes feature a heel tab and Stan Smith logo on the tongue in either green or black.
This is the second time this month the brand has announced that the Stan Smith silhouette will be reimagined.
World-renowned musician Pharrell Williams worked with Adidas on the limited-edition Jacquard Pack, set for a May 30 release. The unisex shoe will come in two vintage floral fabrics – turquoise with gold and pink embroidery, and rich cream with red, gold and green embroidery. Williams found the tapestry textiles while visiting the historic Paris fabric district, Marché Saint Pierre.
