New Women’s Launch: Nightwalker for Fall ’15

Nightwalker is expanding into shoes. The New York-based women’s ready-to-wear brand is launching shoes for fall ’15, including tri-buckled high-tops, leopard-print mules and suede leather ankle boots. “The Nightwalker girl is a strong woman. There’s this whole boho trend, but our twist is more western,” said Melissa Trovato-Powell, founder and designer. “We’re all killer and no filler.” The edited collection is produced in Asia and will retail for $149 to $270. Though it hasn’t been picked up in any official retailers yet, the brand hopes to target stores like Free People, Revolve and Calypso St. Barths. “We’ve sold our ready-to-wear to high-end boutiques, but we’ve also sold to Nasty Gal,” said Trovato-Powell. “It’s funny because they’ve both sold out — it’s not really a price point thing, it’s more of a style thing. It works in both markets.”
