Jimmy Fallon as ‘The Fresh Prince’; Plus, Shoes Fit for a Jazzy Jeff-Style Dance Party

Who doesn’t love a ’90s throwback? Jimmy Fallon brought us just that on “The Tonight Show” with a rendition of the opening theme song from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

In the number, Fallon features both The Roots and Jazzy Jeff, explaining “how I brought the Tonight Show back out to L.A.” and “we’re bringing the Tonight Show from New York to L.A.,” he rapped. In fact, DJ Jazzy Jeff was even featured driving a yellow cab — and Carlton makes a guest appearance, featuring his signature dance move.

A few shoe moments are included, like Fallon in black high-tops and white Air Jordans, while “shooting some bball outside of the school.”

Fallon is on a roll. Just this weekend, he aired a lip sync battle featuring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart.

But let’s go back to Jazzy Jeff for a minute. There’s something about the old school DJ, who came to fame partnering with Will Smith, that makes us want to dance.

Are we right? Here, FN crafts a roundup of the most snazzy shoes for the dance floor.

Alejandro Ingelmo: This gold number screams for attention. The strappy lace-up metallic style would add pop to any outfit and is sure to shine in a crowd.

Alexandre Birman: Another metallic pop, but this time on a slingback open-toe style. The cutout details add a wow factor.

Charline De Luca: The designer makes snakeskin ready to bust a move by adding bold colors like purple and yellow.

Christian Siriano: Embellished gold all over ups the ante on this classic pump. You’re bound to feel fancy for whatever the DJ is mixing.

Sophia Webster: Rave, anyone? The playful colors and unique beadwork on this cutout style are made for some house music.
