Art Basel has kicked off in Miami, bringing together people from art, music and fashion for the annual fair.
This year, Kith is celebrating the opening of its debut art gallery, called Kith Homage Exhibit, curated by the Joshua Liner Gallery. A private reception held on Thursday evening brought out Solange Knowles, Mack Wilds, Public School designer Maxwell Osbourne and more.
Art on display includes works by Wayne White, Josh Sperling, Alfred Steiner, Greg Lamarche, Michael Kagan, Erin M. Riley and more.
The artists created works inspired by some of Kith owner Ronnie Fieg’s collaborations with Asics.
Fieg hosted a special in-gallery signing of his book “Homage” on Thursday night. The book includes the inspirations behind the collaborations in the gallery, special content created with Asics and a peek at his upcoming 25th anniversary Asics Gel-Lyte III.
The gallery formally opens today and runs through Dec. 6.
On his Instagram account, Fieg wrote that as Kith continues to grow, “it will always be our job to offer experiences that will live in your memory bank. This one means so much to me for so many reasons.”
As we continue to grow as a brand, it will always be our job to offer experiences that will live in your memory bank. This one means so much to me for so many reasons. I can't wait for Miami to see it starting tomorrow 12/4 at noon during my book signing (50 pieces, first come, first served) and afterwards the gallery will open to the public from 4pm up until Sunday evening.
