“Orange is the New Black” fans are likely binge-watching Season 3 right now. Prior to the Netflix release yesterday, Taylor Schilling stepped out at the “Orangecon” fan event in New York City in a red-hot look — strappy sandals by Ralph Lauren, paired with a Cushine et Ochs dress.
Co-star Laura Prepon wore snakeskin pumps, and the slit in Uzo Aduba’s dress showed off her Tory Burch strappy sandals in a metallic finish.
Natasha Lyonne’s studded white pumps were by Barbara Bui, while Laverne Cox also sported studs on a black stiletto.
The cast’s premiere styles are a world away from their prison looks on set, where the cast is outfitted in official prison boots, costume designer Jenn Rogien told FN.
“There’s a pair of standard-issue boots we purchased from a prison supplier. The actors are very divided: Some of them love the boots’ clunky and powerful feel, and others hate them for the same reason,” she said. “It’s funny to see the range of reactions, because it’s a real prison boot.”
