Celebrities Sound Off on Super Bowl XLIX

The Super Bowl is always guaranteed to be a big social media moment, and last night’s nail-biter was no different. From Katy Perry’s halftime show to the red-zone interception that sealed the Patriots’ victory, the big game was also the most tweeted ever — and stars were big contributors.

Allison Williams gave her friend Katy Perry a whole lot of love ahead of the big performance, as did designer Jeremy Scott, who posted a few backstage previews on Instagram. Celebrities took to Twitter and Instagram to sound off on the big show, which also included an appearance by Lenny Kravitz (in Saint Laurent suede boots) and Missy Elliott (in Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers).

The game itself was a high intensity one that got a lot of feedback on social media. Chris Pratt, a Seahawks fan, and Chris Evans, a Patriots fan, made a big bet ahead of the game that the winner would visit children’s hospitals dressed as his superhero character. The two took to social to show they were watching the game together — and that Pratt will head to childrens’ hospitals in Boston and Seattle as Star-Lord.

Not everyone was at the big game. Kate Hudson showed her Super Bowl spirit from home in a post-game dance with her son.
