Anna Kendrick Wins ‘Lip Sync Battle’ with Jennifer Lopez Rendition

John Krasinski and Anna Kendrick were a well-matched pair of contenders on last night’s “Lip Sync Battle” on Spike TV, starting off with a set of boy band favorites and finishing with songs made famous by fierce females — and one of those females stole the show.

Jennifer Lopez made a surprise appearance. Dressed in a body-hugging white-and-gold one-strap dress and gold pumps, she looked every bit the pop music superstar. (Of course, she pretty much always looks that — and we’ve got the photographic evidence to prove it.)

JLo’s dramatic and smoke-filled entrance was a show of support for Kendrick, who gave a stellar lip-sync performance of one of JLo’s hit songs. Kendrick, whose new film, “Pitch Perfect 2,” opens May 14, showed off her musical-theater training with a well-choreographed rendition of “Booty” while outfitted in a black jumpsuit and black-and-white high-top sneakers.

Krasinski also shook and shimmied like a pro during his lip sync of Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary.” We give him major points for being brave enough to wear the sequined mini but have to dock him a few points for his unfortunate footwear choice of heavy high-tops. They’re hot with a sleek jumpsuit, not hot with a fringed flapper dress.

In the end, Kendrick won out.

Was it the JLo cameo, Kendrick’s hot moves or those chic sneaks? Watch the video and decide for yourself:
