As a Puma brand ambassador for men’s sportstyle and curator of the #Pumalife collection, launching this fall, Meek Mill continues his support of the brand by wearing Puma sneakers in his new “All Eyes On You” music video.
Tara McRae, senior vice president of brand & marketing for Puma, told FN, “Our partnership is constantly evolving, as the brand does and [as] Meek does as an artist. As we re-defined Puma with our Forever Faster platform last year, Meek embraced it, as he embodies challenging the conventional, taking risks and trusting his instincts. We are all pushing to try new things and present Puma’s iconic and progressive products in innovative and unique ways to the consumer with a ‘Meek’ spin on them.”
The rapper released his second collaborative effort with Puma in March. The Patent Pack has two patent leather signature shoes, the Basket Classic and the Challenge. Puma also collaborated with Mill in February for his 24K White Gold Collection, which featured a white-gold Low Puma Suede Classic and a gold Mid Puma Suede Classic.
The video, featuring Nicki Minaj, shows off some PDA from the real-life couple. It also features a guest appearance by Chris Brown, who lends his vocals to the track, which is on Mill’s latest album, “Dreams Worth More Than Money.”
Mill is sporting the Mid Suede Classic as he lies in bed with Minaj.
Mill was recently seen wearing Pumas while performing alongside Minaj at the 2015 BET Awards in limited-edition Puma R698 reflective men’s sneakers. “They are important moments for the brand as they are extremely important moments for Meek, his fans and our consumers. They are relevant, meaningful and often iconic moments,” McRae said of the “All Eyes On You” and BET Awards moments.
