Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea Wear Statement Boots For Billboard Awards Performance

Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea performed their latest single “Pretty Girls” for the first time ever at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards at Planet Hollywood on the Vegas strip. Spears sported latex-like thigh-high boots in black, and Azalea rocked metallic silver and black knee-high boots. The fun performance brought backup dancers to the stage in light-up sneakers, roller skates and Nikes.

Earlier in the night, Azalea walked the red carpet in hot pink pointy-toe pumps, and took home the award for Best Rap Song of the Year for “Fancy.” Spears opted for Yousef Al-Jasmi gown and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.

Spears is currently finishing up her Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood, and is a frequent wearer of Saint Laurent’s platform pumps, skyscraper heels and solid-colored leathers. While Spears is known for wearing classic silhouettes, Azalea leans towards more risk-taking looks.  The rapper often wears luxury sneakers and statement shoes. Azalea is no stranger to the footwear industry as she recently teamed up with Steve Madden for their second collaboration this past February. She caused a bit of controversy after posting a Twitter rant, voicing her unhappiness with unveiled images from her shoot with the brand. Madden touched on the Twitter battle at FN’s CEO Summit just last week, saying that he learned from that experience.
