Giuseppe Zanotti’s spring ’16 campaign has landed, bringing a strong new statement for the Italian luxury brand. Lensed by Mario Sorrenti, the campaign stars Grace Hartzel and Kaleb Ressler modeling the brand’s Rebel Angels collection of bold accessories and embellished leather ready-to-wear.
With a city-like backdrop, the ads were designed to simultaneously capture and celebrate the modern rebel. “I wanted the campaign to feel almost cinematic in its intensity and emotion,” said Giuseppe Zanotti in a release. “The images — stark, expressive — articulate a new sense of realism, a new kind of beauty.”
Key pieces from spring ’16 are featured, including the Raquel — laser-cut cage sandals — and Zanotti Franz leather shoes with oversized metal grommets for men.

Other spring ’16 styles shown in the campaign include the Jenny, a dusty suede laceup bootie with studs, and the Ressler midnight-blue velvet espadrilles.

This season for men, the footwear designer focused on a 1970s motif, using fringe, beads and snakeskin on his signature sneaker styles.
“Rebel Angels is the mood of the new Giuseppe Zanotti man,” Zanotti told Footwear News in June. “The rebel style of California in the ’70s is entwined with edgy styles. Leather cowboy boots, beaded moccasins and fringed booties are featured, along with grommets, studs and metallic details for an irreverent spirit.”

For women, the ads showcase studded strappy stilettos, red mules and the Zanotti Lauren sandals.

The Giuseppe Zanotti spring ’16 campaign is set for release in February.
