Lane Crawford has introduced its newest flagship store at ifc mall in Hong Kong. The 6,000 square foot space contains four unique rooms, which showcase a selection of fashion and jewelry items.
The retailer calls the new store a “next-generation” retail space. It was created in collaboration with design firm Yabu Pushelberg, which is behind other retail stores throughout China.
Each room will be regularly changed and curated by international designers and Lane Crawford’s buying and creative teams. Two of the rooms were curated by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who appeared at the store last week to debut their fall ’15 collection for The Row as well as art, shoes, and jewelry chosen by the two.
Another of the rooms features looks by Azzedine Alaïa, including shoes and the house’s first fragrance, Alaïa Paris, which launched yesterday.
The store will also boast an expanded shoes, bags, and accessories space that is to open in mid-August. It will offer customers more than 300 brands.
The Lane Crawford chain was founded in 1850 and has 11 department stores across Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu as well as an e-commerce site that ships globally.
