Stuart Weitzman Launches Short Film: “A Tale of Two Cities”

Welcome to Beijing and Shanghai. Stuart Weitzman is celebrating “A Tale of Two Cities,” highlighting the fashion and local music scene in both spots.

The short film, to debut this summer, was directed by Italian photographer Fabio Paleari and showcases an East-meets-West vibe. The inspiration comes from a rock indie movement moment happening in the area; the spot includes Chinese rock band Reflector performing at Tango.

“Set to a pulsating rock beat that characterizes the exuberance and electricity of this underground world, the short film accentuates the city’s vibrant downtown nightlife,” said a rep on the Weitzman team.

Heels, boots and strappy stilettos all make an appearance, because what would a Stuart Weitzman video be without some standout shoes. Plus, this continues the brands push to work with independent filmmakers.
