This week, FN’s sneaker columnist Stacey Griffith—senior mastor instructor at SoulCycle—goes for Saint Laurent’s White SL/10 Court Classic High Tops. See her thoughts on the sneaker below:
“Wow, this shoe is a total showstopper. These have the coolest gunmetal studding I have ever seen. It reminds me of how an empty Light Bright screen used to look when I was younger. Something about a grid of metal is a total turn on—especially on your feet!
The heel of the shoe is my favorite part, along with the thick tongue and its gold embossed logo. Love those details—they’re subtle, small, and to the point.
I got this shoe in Beverly Hills at the Saint Laurent flagship store, and legit wore them out guns a blazin’. The velcro strap across the top is sleek and features another embossed logo. By now, this shoe is probably drastically on sale on any fashion sneaker site, try SSENSE.COM or MRPORTER.COM, as it has a bit of a hefty price tag at $1,195 USD.
It’s especially killer with Current Elliot jeans and a white Rag & Bone t-shirt—but then again, what doesn’t look good with that combo?”
