Roger Vivier — known for its luxurious, highly creative collections — is launching a limited-edition heritage line called Caprices, which features feathered, raffia and sequined accessories. The 35-style collection officially hits Theluxer.com, the Parisian label’s e-commerce partner, today.
The fantastical offering includes the brand’s iconic Miss Yon pumps that are adorned with bird features, along with open-toed pumps sporting a striking raffia rosebud. A collection of iconic handbags and jewelry is also reinterpreted in innovative ways. Prices are available upon request.
“There’s nothing unrealistic, just a few touches of extreme luxury,” said Vivier Creative Director Bruno Frisoni, who has been at the helm of the label since 2004.
Julia Restoin Roitfeld has joined forces with Vivier as the face of the new collection, and she appears in images photographed by Michael Avedon, the grandson of renowned photographer Richard Avedon. The Caprices campaign is shot against a black background to further spotlight the eye-catching accessories.
The Luxer is an exclusive club for stylish men and women, where they can find unique, hard-to-find pieces. The site is the official partner of Tod’s, Roger Vivier, Hogan, Hogan Rebel and Fay, all Tod’s Group brands.
