It may finally be winter, but FN columnist Stacey Griffith isn’t giving up her sneakers anytime soon.
The senior master instructor at SoulCycle, known for her extensive sneaker collection, opts for a felt high-top this week, which provides both warmth and style for the brisk streets of New York. Here’s what Griffith has to say about the style:
“With winters in New York being the way they are, I have gravitated toward comfortable high-tops this season. Don’t get me wrong, I love my low-tops, but I’m really finding some amazing above-ankle gems. I’ve found another sleek Italian mid-top sneaker with some hiking details that may turn you on – the James Perse Diemme Marostica sneaker. This shoe is like walking on cotton balls, because apparently the heel has a quintuple-stitch that cradles your heel. But here’s the sexy part: The material is grey felt with a leather inner and upper lining.”
