In addition to overseeing her burgeoning lifestyle brand and shoe collection, dominating the world of social media and attending events across the globe (think 2015 CFDA awards), the entrepreneur also finds time to use her voice and reach to lend support to important causes.
One thing you may not have known about Ferragni is that she’s an amfAR generationCURE ambassador. amfAR, one of the world’s leading nonprofit organizations, dedicates it’s time to the support of AIDS research, HIV education, treatment and prevention.
As part of its ongoing work, the amfAR generationCURE event series is but one way the foundation raises much needed funds to benefit its work. As part of this series, the 4th annual Solstice event is being held tomorrow evening in NYC, where Ferragni will be auctioning off six pairs of shoes from her latest, not-yet-released collection, ‘Made in Italy.’ The styles up for grabs will be the ‘Flirting’ boots (left), two pairs of Flirting slippers, glitter Neverstop slip-on sneakers, Holly pumps and a pair of Roger sneakers with a 90s basket sole.
FN recently caught up with Ferragni when she was last in NYC for a preview of her latest collection. We spied her trademark quirky detailing throughout the collection, of course, her winking eye motif, glitter for days and a standout pair of velvet over-the-knee high boots.

Perhaps her brand’s best ambassador, when we met, Ferrgani was wearing a pair of pointy-toe ‘Flirting’ slippers – one of the 6 designs that will be auctioned off tomorrow.
