Burberry is teaming up with Google on a new personalized-film experience at the luxury label’s London Regent Street store. According to WWD, the Burberry Booth allows customers to place themselves in Burberry’s Festive Film campaign video, which debuted earlier this month.
The Festive Film features Romeo Beckham, as well as a handful of other famous Brits, including Naomi Campbell, Elton John, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Michelle Dockery, James Corden, James Bay and Julie Walters. The film celebrates the 15th anniversary of the stage show “Billy Elliot.”
Burberry’s Christopher Bailey directed the film. The Burberry Booth will be at the Regent Street store from Nov. 24 through Dec. 24. Google enabled the brand to use real-time stitching technology to insert customers into the video.
In addition to this new technology and film, Burberry live-streamed its spring ’16 fashion show at London Fashion Week in September.
