Brian Atwood knows how to make a statement, and he’s doing it again with his fall ’15 campaign. The jetsetter combined inspirations from his extensive travel with his admiration for Rudolph Valentino to craft another sexy campaign for fall.
“The fall collection was inspired by my many trips to Istanbul and my love for the city and the people. I love going to the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Markets, with their warm amazing colors,” Atwood said. “So in turn, I wanted the [campaign’s] visual imagery to portray that, though I did get inspired by mixing the ideas of Istanbul, Rudolph Valentino, Casablanca and the Grand Bazaar all together to get a very opulent result. I wanted him to be a lover of women and their shoes, like a modern-day Rudolph Valentino.”
The fall campaign was shot by Sabrina Tanzi. Models were Sahib Faber and Valerie de Witte.
For his risqué spring ’15 campaign, the designer featured model Aurélien Muller sans clothes alongside his trademark stiletto.
Atwood unveiled his resort collection in New York in June and will present his full spring ’16 line during Milan Fashion Week in September.
