Before BBC’s acquisition deal in August 2014, Feiyue had major success in collaborations — including collections with Celine, André, Casio, Bonton, NSBQ and more. Now, BBC is set to continue the efforts of the Feiyue heritage and release premium collaborations, and the launch starts with Peanuts.
“One of the key things that has made the brand a success worldwide are the premium collaborations we’ve done,” said Al Kishfy, president of international brands at BBC.
BBC and Feiyue saw a trend in the market, specifically in entertainment property characters, and for Feiyue, Snoopy has a starring role.
The limited edition Peanuts collection will feature the shoes with a vintage feel, showcasing the characters on a washed out comic strip-like background in black and white colorways.
French retailer Colette will carry the collection, as well as other premium department stores across Europe and Asia.
In the U.S., Feiyue x Peanuts will have a limited launch with exclusive partners at select retailers.
According to Seth Campbell, vice president of international sales, these efforts will continue into 2016 with two more collaborations in the cashmere and premium swimwear sector.
