The 2015 Toronto International Film Festival is in full swing and attracting Hollywood’s biggest names.
On Monday afternoon, Dakota Johnson continued her TIFF appearances for her latest film, “Black Mass,” which also stars Johnny Depp. Over the weekend, Johnson stunned in Jimmy Choo Lucille T-strap sandals for the star-filled HFPA Party At TIFF.
Kate Mara has also been making a shoe statement at the festival. The actress, who was on hand to promote “The Martian,” wore a pair of Brian Atwood pumps for the film’s press conference. Later in the evening, Mara opted for Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals for the premiere.
Naomi Watts and Natalie Portman kicked off TIFF last week with a bang. Watts hit the red carpet on Sept. 10 in Gianvito Rossi nude heels, paired with a Balmain dress for the premiere of “Demolition” and the opening-night gala.
Watts was joined by Jake Gyllenhaal, who co-stars with her in the film, as well Chris Cooper, Judah Lewis, Heather Lind and director Jean-Marc Vallee.
Portman wore Bally sandals, which seem to be her go-to shoes for the festival, and a custom Lanvin dress at the premiere of “A Tale of Love and Darkness.” The Dior frontwoman wrote, directed and stars in the film.
Portman wore the same Bally shoes for the TIFF Kick-Off Fundraising Soirée at the TIFF Bell Lightbox on Wednesday. She paired the black sandals with a Dior fall ’15 couture dress.
On Wednesday evening, more Hollywood stars arrived in Canada during TIFF for the AMBI Gala, which aims to raise funds from the cinema community to help worthy causes. James Franco, Martin Short, Misha Barton, Michael Madsen and Diana Ross were in attendance.
