Rita Ora’s Sneaker Evolution

Rita Ora — singer, actress and the first female musical artist to team up with Adidas — has long been a sneakerhead in her own right, even before she began designing her own kicks.

The longtime Adidas fan teamed up with the brand in 2014 to design her own line of sneakers and apparel. Her latest Adidas Originals collection for spring ’15 features pop art, Asian symbols, billowing smoke and futuristic X-rays.

Ora’s “Dragon Print” and “Smoke” packs hit stores today.

In 2014, Ora told WWD, “I grew up working at a sneaker store when I was 16 — I’m a huge sneakerhead. It’s so cool that I’m able to do this with a brand that I sold when I was younger.”

Ora’s head-turning fashion sense is clearly portrayed through her colorful and quirky capsule collection, but the “I Will Never Let You Down” singer has been pairing sneakers with risk-taking outfits since she first stepped out in the music business.

for Ora, 2012 was the year of the Air Jordans. She has been spotted wearing Jordan 9s, Cement Air Jordan 3s, Mars Air Jordan 4, Jordan 6s and many more.

Since then, the “Fifty Shades of Grey” actress has been rocking the shell-toed kicks. Ora wears her own Adidas designs, as well as the classic Superstars and Stan Smiths. She also wears sneakers by DKNY and Giuseppe Zanotti.
