Met Gala After-Party Shoes: Celeb Looks At 2015 Met Ball Party

Not all the wild and wonderfully over-the-top fashion happens on the Met Gala red carpet. With at least a half-dozen after-parties, it’s like a whole second fashion festival.

Besides shedding the heavy ballgowns (we’re looking at you, Rihanna and Lady Gaga), many of the stars do a great shoe swap.

Among our favorite big changes:

The star, who has her own new shoe line, swapped her black Jimmy Choo pumps from the red carpet for a geometric beaded pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Adrianna Lima
The model went bold in a lace-up gladiator style from Giuseppe Zanotti’s Rock N Roll collection, swapping out her pointed-toe pumps.

Gigi Hadid
After donning red Christian Louboutins that landed her on our best-shod list, Hadid went for an upscale sneaker.

Jennifer Lawrence
Lawrence let her hair down (literally) at the after-parties, turning to a slinky silver slip dress and pair of standout Jimmy Choo heels.

Zoe Kravitz
It wasn’t going to be a Met Gala without an Alexander Wang platform-sneaker sighting. Luckily, Zoe Kravitz was the one who pulled them off. She was spotted with Miley Cyrus (and her new blue ‘do) and Kristen Wiig.

Not every star swaps her shoes, and sometimes that’s just what you want. Props to Kerry Washington on making the Prada shoe call. The “Scandal” star shed her poofy pink gown and opted for a lighter dress  — but kept her standout lime Mary-Janes.
